 Dispensing of medicines to In & Out Patients
 Dispensing of medicine to the discharged patients which involves monitoring the discharge report for new discharges, obtaining the treatment advice from nursing area, packing and delivering the required medicines to discharged patient and maintain record of them.
 Correction of prescription error if any by confirming with the consultants
 Consult with doctor regarding substitutions
 Giving daily report regarding daily cash sale to the admin. and provide various report on demand.
 Proper handling of cash received by ensuring proper taking over and handing over in every shift to avoid shortage/excess and depositing it to accounts on daily basis
 Maintenance of overall pharmacy
 Keeping drugs in proper place and at proper temp.(conditions)
 Keeping pharmacy stock upto date through regular stock checks
 Giving information regarding shortage items and new items prescribed by doctors to the purchase department.
 .Continuous efforts towards increasing the OP Pharmacy sale by ensuring maximum availability of drugs and good customer relations.
 Vendor relationship , Retail management , Doctor Relationship, ABC Stock Analysis & Stock Management .

 Responsible for Preparing Bills of PMJAY (OPD& IPD)
 Responsible compiling and maintaining documents for all PMJAY Bills
 Responsible for taking approvals for extended stay.
 Responsible for initiate bill claims of all discharge patients.
 Will take rounds in ICU and wards twice a day for cross checking of files updations
 Responsible for uploading final bills in portals
 Responsible for scanning of documents
 Responsible for tracking and settlement of payments
 Responsible for Implant Quotations
 Responsible for pending queries.
 Checking of discharge summaries before uploading
 Preparing case summaries on weekly basis .
 Any other task assigned by the HOD or Management.

• Support the consultants by undertaking OPDs and seeking advice for admission if required. They will not have admission rights. They will admit patients under the Consultant.
• Accompany consultants, on IPD Ward/ ICU /CCU visits
• In the absence of the Consultant - Pay timely visits to In - patients and treat the patients along the indicated line of treatment
• Conduct medical procedure under supervision of consultant after getting the consent from patient’s attendant.
• Implementation of Quality protocols and SOPs in patient care as laid down by the group
• Complete and correct documentation of patient file & records
• Check and authorize all diagnostic requisition slips.
• Monitor the Nursing care – Proper Medication, timely vitals recording etc
• Inspect maintenance of the ward during his/her Duty
• Attend emergencies and inform consultants for further action.
• Providing the information regarding the patient’s condition to his/her attendant whenever required.
• Check the diet chart, medicine & vitals chart frequently
• Coordinate with all nursing/Para medical & non-medical staff of the department to maintain high standard of medical care to the patients.
• Perform other activities /duties as assigned by the seniors
• Practice the code of conduct laid down by NABH and as put across by the group

• Makes a complete assessment of all assigned patients on admission / at the beginning of the shift so as to plan the activities in order of priority while applying principles of safe patient care.
• Provides complete Nursing care - periodic Vital recording, Bed making, Medication administrations, ECG, IV & Blood transfusions, personal requirements of the patient.
• Maintains patients’ hygiene and health.
• Practices infections controls measures to protect patient form acquiring or spreading infection. Demonstrates awareness of potential/actual risks of injection and modes of transmission. Utilizes universal precautions in nursing practice.
• Maintain continuity through clear and concise (verbal and written) communication.
• Maintains required quantity of medicines and medical consumables in the ward.
• Takes responsibility of caring for all equipments and furniture and other related items in the unit realizing the need for cost effective and safe nursing care.
• Demonstrates willingness to adjust the work pattern as directed by the superiors. Maintains confidentiality in matters related to patient and family.
• Reports patient condition to appropriate personnel as required without delay.
• Implements emergency life resuscitative measures according to BLS & ACLS protocols.
• Documents patient care in a manner that is clear, complete, and concise and in compliance with nursing documentation standards.
• Undertakes Patient and Attendants’ education, utilizing appropriate resources and documents in collaboration with the Nurse patient Educator.
• Provides a safe environment for patients, staff, family and visitors.
• Performs nursing procedures and Administers medications safely and efficiently according to established policies and procedures and doctors advise
• Uses equipment safely and efficiently and takes responsibility of the inventory of the unit as directed by the unit in charge.
• Upholds the nursing code of ethics and acts as a role model to other staff members.
• Facilitates smooth discharge as per the protocols and doctors advice.
• Service education is mandatory.
• Maintain the confidentiality of the assigned patient
